I suppose you saw this coming.
But I just had to! It was so incredible that literally while I was watching I was thinking about how much I already wanted to watch it again. Wes Anderson has (obviously) done it again.
Aside from the movie being beautiful and funny and clever and pretty much perfect... I also couldn't help but love the pops of rich color against pale colors. The tan cobblestone, the muted blues, and light pinks are stunning with the bright red and saturated royal purple. Not to mention that the music was inspiring all on its own.
I guess it's safe to assume that I would recommend this movie to everyone. I can't wait to watch it again and again and realize new things that pull creatively or just make me laugh. Both help with the creative process.
And as an added bonus, my beloved Edward Norton is in it - he's the best.
Happy April 1st to you!
