Listening to the radio this morning, I was reminded of just how wonderful Fall is in Western New York. It doesn't take much to remind me of how much I enjoy the leaves turning and falling all around me, the taste of apple cider, and mums lining every entranceway. This reminder of everything Fall this morning, reinforced these warm fuzzy feelings of mine.
They were interviewing a local about events and must-sees before this Fall becomes Winter, which does have the tendency to happen a little bit rapidly around here, She excitedly said get out there and do it! There are apples to be picked and leaves to be peeped, along with wine tours to go on, and haunted pub crawls to partake in. Pumpkins to carve, scary movies to watch, and oh-so-many cider doughnuts to be eaten.
I'll get to my point - Fall is inspiring! It's a second spring, where every leaf is a spring blossom just turning into it's final flower. It's a chance to get organized and ready for your long winters nap. A time to celebrate the outdoors while we still can, while (of course) getting together with friends and family to watch your favorite football team. (Go Bills!)
I love it all.
From start to finish, Fall is so wonderful. I hope you are all feeling as inspired as I do right now and I hope you jump at the chance to squeeze the last bit out of this year and make it the best yet.
Cheers to Autumn!
