Inspiration Tuesdays - Happy.
Today, while on my daily romp through the internet -blogs, social media, and of course Pinterest, I stumbled upon this little bit of advice;
Do more of what makes you happy.
Such a simple bit of wisdom, but it actually struck a cord in me. How important is it that I organize the pantry right this minute when it's a nice (warm!) fall day and my little weasel lady needs a walk? Do I really need to run to the store and get those last couple of errands before work today? Do I have to do the dishes and laundry?
It just hit me that of course while I need to do these necessary life requirements - I also need to prioritize happiness. Isn't that really just as important than a clean pantry?
The best part about this tidbit of loveliness is that it came in a beautiful little package.

Such a beautiful image to accompany it. After I saw this I made some time to do what makes me happy. I got back in my studio, even if just for a small chunk of the day and created just a little something.
In a time of overstimulation, it's nice to slow down and take in a little bit of happiness.
