Whirlwind.

This weekend was another quick trip to and from the Adirondacks to check out the site of our beautiful wedding weekend extravaganza.  We left Friday after Alex's work, drove the six hours there, then woke up in the morning and drove another hour back to the Big Wolf Clubhouse.

The front of our lovely Clubhouse - the site of the big day.  Aren't we lucky?

It also marked an important day in our relationship - the merging of the families.  Now I am very fortunate to have a truly wonderful family, and be marrying into another terrific family, so needless to say, I was not worried.   However, it is always a bit of a big deal in a relationship.  You essentially are melding families in such a unique way, and I am happy to report that all parties were very happy and enjoyed each other's companies as much as I do.

Another view of the Clubhouse.  It's getting really exciting!

Not to mention the fact that Alex's parents rode a total of 12 hours in the car with this giant weasel taking up a big chuck of space from their back seat.  So amazing.

Also, doesn't Addie look stunning in orange (yes! the dog)? Now we know, orange is her color.  Noted.

But seriously, the wedding is exactly four weeks from today, and I'm not gonna lie to you - I am getting so excited.  Not only does it feel really really real all of the sudden, but I'm just feeling great about everything.  I can't wait for it.  I know it's going to be really wonderful.
