Day 4 - Some Sunshine.

Obviously the sun doesn't shine here, I mean not in February.  No way.  Not when we've gotten about 2 feet of snow and its still snowing.  Not when it's supposed to be negative degrees tonight.  Not when there is a big grey snow cloud directly above Buffalo.  But hey, that's when I get my best work done!  There is really nothing else to do, it's way too cold and too snowy.

Today's bag is using my favorite color, bright, cheerful canary yellow.

I came across these huge beautiful canary yellow curtains a while ago at a second hand store, and had to pick them up.  I'm so drawn to this color, so I needed to get this beautiful fabric to make something!  The handles were also scooped up second hand, my Momma grabbed them for me when she was out thrifting.  The wood and yellow is so beautiful and so springy!

Slouched Spring Bag.jpg

All the fashion magazines I read all point to the new spring lines, this was pulled from the inspiration of spring being around the corner.  I know Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow so we're doomed for 6 more weeks, but that doesn't mean I can't start pulling some brights and pastels to remind me of the promise of Spring.

More handbags to come!
