2014, Here I Come.

At the start of a new year we always feel compelled to start fresh.  To give up our vices, eat better, and just generally be a better version of our former selves.

I will say that I am guilty of always doing this.  Worse yet- I like doing this.  After all, who doesn't jump at a chance to improve?

Every year I like to think I do in fact, stick to some of my grand resolutions.  For example, last year my boyfriend, err wait, fiance (yes Alex and I are getting hitched! but more on that later) went vegan for a month at the start of the new year in an effort to eat better.  It went pretty well and I did pick up some good habits from our month of dairy-free eating.  Am I still a vegan?  Well, no.  Ice cream is my favorite food after all.  But do I eat more fruits and veggies? Yes.  Baby steps.

I say all this to lead up to my new resolutions for this year;

1. Be a Better Blogger.  I know I know, you've heard this before.  Really though!  This is the year. I think it's important for my own personal growth and for the growth of my business.

2. Wake Up at 9 Every Morning. Alright, judge away.  I know, that's somewhat of a ridiculous resolution, but I work nights!  It's hard...

3. Eat Out Less. Again, probably the same thing I say every year.  It can't hurt to try again though right?

4. Lastly, Treat My Business Like a Business. This may sound obvious, but it's surprisingly easy to treat it like it's just a fun little side gig, when in actuality it's what I want to do when I grow up.  I'm not too old to say that still, am I?  Nah.

So here i am, with a brand new website and visions of grandeur.

Needless to say, I'm gonna need a lot of help.  Here we go!
